Madame Anisette® Parfuma® hybrid tea rose – pharmaROSA® ORIGINAL 2-litre own-root
fragrance lovers, this creamy hybrid tea brings a very strong aniseed–myrrh perfume to classic borders and front gardens while remaining reassuringly reliable in typical British conditions, even where heavy soil benefits from improved drainage and raised beds. Its upright, bushy habit and dense, dark green foliage create a well-structured shrub that sits neatly among perennials, offering elegant cut flowers as well as garden impact. Bred by Kordes for modern health, it combines award-winning disease resistance with low maintenance and minimal pruning needs, ideal for busy gardeners who prefer uncomplicated planting. As an own-root plant it settles in steadily, with roots establishing first, then stronger shoots, and by the third year it reveals its full ornamental value.
Madame Anisette® shows very full, spherical cream-white blooms.

Reasoning
Front garden focal rose
Ideal where you want an immediate point of interest by the front path or entrance: its upright hybrid tea form, very full creamy blooms and strong aniseed fragrance give a classic, “proper rose” look with little effort, reassuring for the beginner.
Cutting patch for home bouquets
The long, straight stems and large, full flowers lend themselves naturally to cutting, while repeat blooming ensures a regular supply of scented stems through summer without demanding complex feeding regimes, suiting the occasional home flower-arranger.
Low-maintenance mixed border
Excellent for a tidy border where you want structure without fuss: its bushy habit and low pruning requirement mean seasonal deadheading and a simple spring trim are usually enough to keep it flowering well for the time-poor homeowner.
Small group planting (1–3 roses)
Planting one to three together builds a more substantial feature in a modest space, with matching colour and form; as an own-root shrub it matures steadily into a stable, long-lived clump, rewarding the patient planner.
Cottage-style cream-and-pastel scheme
The soft cream-white with a hint of peach blends naturally with pastel perennials and traditional cottage plants, giving a refined note among looser companions while still reading clearly from the pavement for the style-conscious gardener.
Family garden rose bed
High disease resistance and good hardiness reduce spraying and worry, so children and pets can enjoy the garden around it; dependable remontant flowering provides colour over a long season for the busy family.
Sunny patio in a large container
Well suited to a generous pot of at least 40–50 litres, where its upright growth and strong scent can be appreciated close to seating; good heat tolerance and moderate drought resilience help it cope with warm patios for the urban balcony-owner.
Rose border in challenging soil
Performs well in many typical UK garden soils when planted into improved ground; in heavier sites it responds well to raised beds that improve drainage and root aeration, offering extra reassurance for the cautious improver.
Styling ideas
Cottage Calm – Combine with soft pink roses, lavender and nepeta for a relaxed cottage feel around a small front lawn – ideal for owners wanting romance without intensive upkeep.
Cream Border – Build a cream-and-white border with Madame Anisette®, white coneflowers and silver foliage perennials – for gardeners who prefer a restrained, elegant palette.
Evening Scent – Place near a seating area alongside jasmine and night-scented stocks so the strong aniseed fragrance can be enjoyed after work – perfect for scent-focused enthusiasts.
Cutting Corner – Dedicate a corner bed with straight rows of Madame Anisette® and simple filler plants like gypsophila – suited to those who like bringing structured, home-grown bouquets indoors.
Formal Accent – Use a pair in large containers flanking a front door, underplanted with low evergreen box or heuchera – attractive for homeowners seeking classic symmetry and easy care.

Information about the videos
The video series is not a “seasonal showcase”; it illustrates the essence of pharmaROSA® own-root cultivation in a tangible way: how the plant is built up, what the root system is like and how the shoot system regenerates. The recordings were therefore made at different times and with plants at various stages of development, so mixed foliage levels and differing stages of growth may appear in the videos. They are not a ‘sample’ of the batch dispatched, but a visual explanation of how the technology works. The current condition of the rose available to order — typical for the given period and similar to what you can expect to receive in the parcel — is shown in the upper part of the product page.
